Grafted with Mayo in February 2022, which has been slow to grow and the graft union is ugly, but looks like it may outgrow that.

 | Frost damage update 2/10/24 | 2024-02-10 17:24:08 | Surrounded tree with a "wall 'o water" and covered with row cover before the hard frost came through. We got down to at least 24* here. The leaves have all turned splotchy, but the stem and buds still look like they have some life so I'm hopeful. Wall 'o water will remain in place until frosts are no longer a concern but I did remove the row cover. |
