(June 7, 2024) CORRECTION -- When unpotting, the roots were alive and healthy, and a new shoot was seen emerging from the stem around the soil line. It must have just dried out badly enough to self-prune the whole trunk. It was instead planted in the ground, the first of its generation to get that punishment.

(June 7, 2024) Dead -- Inexplicably died a few days ago. Same conditions as all the other seedlings, I'm not sure what could have caused it. I'm guessing a pathogen, so the soil is not being reused.

(February 24, 2024) Update -- Along with most of its siblings, just began sprouting the top shoot in the last week or two.
