This tree does not have any grafts on it.
All updates:
(September 18, 2025) Summer update -- Growing tall and seems to be enjoying life. The Arctic kiwi I planted next to it has climbed up the avocado but both seem to be doing well. Only problem I see is that the leaves on the lower half of the plant still have brown speckles where something has damaged the leaf tissue.

(July 6, 2024) Photo update, 5/22/24 -- Lil tree is growing well. Something was nibbling at the youngest leaves but that hardly slowed it down. There are some dead leaves, possibly from leaf burn when they came out of the greenhouse? There are also tiny brown spots on the lower, older leaves but they were already present when I picked up the plant from Winn. Does not appear to be harmful, at least not yet. Planted it close to an arctic kiwi (actinidia arguta). Apparently they like the same growing conditions. I'm wondering if the kiwi will help the avocado not freeze to death so easily? Maybe? Stay tuned :)

(December 8, 2023) Frost update -- Slight to moderate damage to new leaves, older leaves mostly look ok with flecks of cellular damage.
