(July 8, 2026) In Ground 1 month -- I planted the now 7 ft+ tall tree in the ground about a month ago. We will see how it does. Initially, there was some shock, but it's pushing out new growth now. It flowered again this year, but I did not get around to pollinating it. I planted it outside with my citrus that have survived 2 winters unprotected. I hope the tree will do the same.
(January 26, 2025) Buds -- The tree is doing great, however it seems to be budding and about to flower. Is this normal for this trees young age? It is not grafted. Otherwise it is a few feet tall and super strong and healthy. Depending on weather and if it truly flowers or not I plan to plant the tree outside this spring next to my inground outdoor citrus trees.
