All updates:
(February 18, 2025) Post Snow Update -- Tree appears to be doing very well following Portland snow last week. Only protection was a frost blanket. Maybe slight tip damage. No dropped or browning leaves as of yet. Tree almost 6 feet tall.
(December 28, 2024) Pre-winter Report 2 -- Doing well. Still putting on new growth.
(August 16, 2024) Summer Update -- In ground now for the last 4 months. Growing well.
(January 23, 2024) Photo update -- Tree has been residing in heated greenhouse since late November. 45 degrees maintained during recent freeze. Pushing new growth and flowers. Plan to plant in ground this spring.
(October 28, 2023) Pre-winter Report -- No issues at all. Growing well. Took recent dips into 36ish degrees without any damage. Unprotected.
