Reason for update: A photo update, after light frost but before any hard frosts
Update text:
It's 34" high, and was still doing well after about 3 light frosts. The deer ate some of its leaves on two occasions recently, and this morning had basically denuded it, but left it alone during summer when they had more forage to choose from. The graft is still alive and has one cluster of small leaves, but is not growing as much as the rest of the tree. Photo is from 11/21/24, before the deer ate the rest of its leaves.
