Reason for update: pre-winter report

Robust growth, both vertical and lateral - about 40" tall, Nov 2024 Planted in 10gal "squat pot" Graft was low enough that I was able to up-pot with the graft planted below grade - this is an attempt to isolate the impact of cold winter air to just the grafted cultivar portion of the plant. The below grade stem is planted on a diagonal, to avoid roots being too deep (This is the same technique as when planting a tomato start in the garden, bury half the stem to develop additional roots.)
