Reason for update: Planted in ground.

Planted on 3/16/2024 in ground with a tomato cage cloche for hardening off. Site location is near cement driveway with South and West sun exposure and slight slope. Native soil is very sandy. Planting hole amended with compost. Mulched with partially composted fir needles/wood chip. Tree was kept in unheated greenhouse prior to planting out. New growth just starting to bud out.
